COX’s business phone systems deliver affordable, cloud-based voice, video, messaging, and contact center solutions. And, your team at Abby Connect has worked with COX for over fifteen years. We know that COX phone systems work well with our call handling options and we can easily assist your call forwarding instructions if needed.

In this article, we’d like to take you through the steps you’ll need to take in order to properly forward your business line(s) with COX. So, without further ado, let’s move FORWARD with COX, together.

Note: To forward with COX, you’ll need your unique forwarding number. If unsure of your forwarding number, look for your Trial Activation Email or contact your Abby Connect CSM.

 COX Call Forwarding: Let’s Get Started!

Turning ON the Call Forwarding Service:

  • Dial * 72. On a rotary phone, dial 1172.
  • Listen for the dial tone.
  • Dial your forwarding number.

Note: Your confirmation will be a stutter dial tone, then a regular dial tone to let you know your Call Forwarding feature is now working.

Turning OFF the Call Forwarding Service:

  • Dial * 73. On a rotary phone, dial 1173.
  • Listen for the confirmation tone, and then hang up the handset.
