How does Abby Connect integrate with Square?
Abby Connect connects to Square through Zapier. When a new call record or message is logged, details can be sent to Square to create or update records. The integration only sends data one-way from Abby to Square.
What information is shared from Abby to Square?
Abby sends details like caller ID, receptionist name, call time, notes, and transfer numbers. For messages, fields like case type or caller location can also be passed. No data flows back into Abby from Square.
Can I update Abby data from Square using this integration?
No. Abby only acts as a trigger in Zapier, meaning data flows outward. You cannot create, update, or modify anything inside Abby from Square or any other connected application.
What do I need to set up the integration?
You will need a Zapier account and an API key from your Abby Connect portal at my.abby.com under Settings, Integrations, Zapier. Once entered in Zapier, you can connect Abby triggers with Square actions.
What are the available triggers for this setup?
The Abby Connect integration offers two Zapier triggers: New Call Record and New Message. When either occurs, selected details are sent through Zapier to create or update corresponding records in Square.
