How does the Abby Connect and ClickUp integration work?
The integration uses Zapier to send call data and messages from Abby Connect into ClickUp. When a new call record or message is logged, Zapier can create a task or note in ClickUp with that information.
What information is shared with ClickUp from Abby Connect?
Abby Connect sends details such as call notes, transfer number, called number, receptionist name, caller ID, and call time. Custom message fields like case type or caller details can also be included.
Can the integration update or change data in Abby Connect?
No, the integration is one way only. Data flows from Abby Connect into ClickUp through Zapier. You cannot create, edit, or update any records inside Abby Connect with this connection.
What do I need to set up the Abby Connect-ClickUp integration?
You will need a Zapier account and an API key from your my.abby.com portal. The API key can be found under Settings, Integrations, Zapier. From there you can connect Abby Connect triggers to ClickUp tasks.
What events trigger data to be sent to ClickUp?
Only two events trigger data to flow: new call records and new messages. When either occurs in Abby Connect, a Zap can be configured to send those details into ClickUp for tracking or follow up.
