How does the Abby Connect and Facebook Pages integration work?
The integration sends call and message data from Abby Connect to your Facebook Page through Zapier. When a new call or message is logged in Abby, the details can post automatically to your Facebook Page or another connected app.
Can Facebook messages update my Abby Connect account?
No. The integration is one-way only. Data moves from Abby Connect to Facebook Pages, not the other way around. Incoming Facebook messages cannot change, create, or update any information within Abby Connect.
What information is shared between Abby Connect and Facebook Pages?
When a trigger event occurs, Abby can send call record or message details like notes, caller ID, contacted number, receptionist name, and call time. Message fields such as case type or caller location can be included if configured.
How do I set up the integration using Zapier?
Sign in to your Zapier account, create a new Zap, and choose Abby Connect as the trigger app. You will need your API key from my.abby.com under Settings, Integrations, Zapier. Then, select Facebook Pages as the action app and customize your post or update.
Are there any limitations to the Abby Connect Facebook integration?
Yes. Abby only offers trigger events called New Call Record and New Message. There are no actions that can affect Abby data. You cannot import external information or change Abby’s configuration through this integration.
