How does Abby Connect integrate with Gmail?
Through Zapier, Abby Connect can send new call records or messages directly to Gmail as emails. The data flows one way from Abby to Gmail and cannot update information inside Abby.
What triggers are available for Gmail integration?
The integration supports two triggers only: New Call Record and New Message. When triggered, Abby sends the call or message details to Gmail without accepting any data back.
Can I reply to callers through Gmail to update Abby?
No, the integration is one-way. Any replies or updates made in Gmail will not sync with Abby. Abby sends information out only, and no changes can be made to it through Gmail.
What call details are sent from Abby to Gmail?
For call records, Abby can send notes, transfer number, called number, receptionist name, caller ID, and call start date and time. You choose what information to include in the Gmail email.
How do I set up the Abby-Gmail connection?
You need a Zapier account and an API key from my.abby.com under Settings > Integrations > Zapier. Create a Zap with Abby as the trigger app and Gmail as the action to deliver call or message data.
