How does Abby Connect integrate with Mailchimp?
Abby Connect sends call or message details to Mailchimp through Zapier. This is a one-way transfer that creates or updates records in Mailchimp, but it does not pull any data back into Abby.
What data is sent from Abby Connect to Mailchimp?
For calls, Abby sends notes, transfer and called numbers, receptionist name, caller ID, and call start date/time. For messages, fields can include case type, location, and other caller details you choose.
Can I update Abby data from Mailchimp through Zapier?
No. The integration is trigger-only. Data flows out of Abby when a new call record or message is logged. You cannot change Abby settings or import Mailchimp data back into Abby.
What do I need to set up the integration?
You need a Zapier account and an Abby Connect API key from your my.abby.com account under Settings, then Integrations, then Zapier. Use these to connect Abby to Mailchimp as a Zapier trigger.
What triggers are available for Mailchimp automation?
Abby supports two triggers in Zapier: New Call Record and New Message. Each time either occurs, Zapier can use the data to add or update records in your connected Mailchimp audience.
