What information can be shared from Abby to Teams?

The integration can send details like caller ID, notes, transfer numbers, and call times. For messages, customizable fields such as case type or caller location can be logged. This helps teams stay updated on caller interactions in Teams.

Can I update Abby Connect records from Microsoft Teams?

No. The integration is one-way only. Information flows from Abby Connect into Teams through Zapier, but you cannot update, edit, or create anything inside Abby from Teams or any connected application.

What do I need to set up the Abby Teams integration?

You will need an active Zapier account and an API key from your Abby portal under Settings and Integrations. Once connected, you can create Zaps that trigger when new call records or messages are received and route them to Microsoft Teams.

What events in Abby Connect trigger updates in Teams?

Only two triggers are available. A new call record or a new message in Abby Connect will push data into Teams. No other Abby Connect events are supported, and no actions can be initiated from Teams back to Abby.
