What does the Abby Connect and QuickBooks Online integration do?
The integration creates a new entry in QuickBooks Online each time Abby Connect logs a New Call Record or receives a New Message. It records caller ID, notes, and call start date/time so your accounting team can link call activity to billing or client records.
Is the Abby Connect and QuickBooks Online connection one-way?
Yes. This is a one-way integration through Zapier. Abby Connect sends call or message data to QuickBooks Online, but no information flows back to Abby Connect.
How do I set up the Abby Connect integration with QuickBooks Online?
Sign in to Zapier, choose Abby Connect as the trigger app and QuickBooks Online as the action app. You will need your Abby Connect API key from my.abby.com under Settings, Integrations, Zapier.
Which triggers are available for this integration?
The integration supports two triggers: New Call Record and New Message. Each trigger can create a time entry, customer entry, or memo in QuickBooks Online depending on how you configure your Zap.
Can my team use the logged data for billing or audit purposes?
Yes. Once caller ID, notes, and call start date/time are logged into QuickBooks Online, your team can review those entries to verify billable hours or maintain an audit trail of client interactions.
