How does the Abby Connect and Tally integration work?
Abby Connect sends call and message data to Tally using Zapier. When a new call record or message is created, that information is automatically sent to Tally forms or tables for tracking and follow-up.
What type of call details can be sent into Tally?
Call records include notes, transfer number, called number, receptionist name, caller ID, and call start time. This data flows from Abby into Tally via Zapier, making it easy to organize call activity.
Can Tally update or change data inside Abby Connect?
No. The integration is one-way only. Data moves from Abby Connect to Tally through Zapier. Tally cannot update, create, or modify Abby settings or records. Abby remains the source of call and message information.
What triggers are available for use with Tally?
The two available triggers are New Call Record and New Message. These trigger actions in Tally through Zapier, such as creating new form entries or updating tables, using Abby’s call and message data.
What setup steps are required for this integration?
You will need an active Zapier account and an API key from your Abby Connect portal. The API key can be found under Settings, Integrations, and then Zapier. Once connected, Zapier can route Abby data into Tally.
