How does the Abby Connect and Wave integration work?
This one-way integration uses Zapier to send call or message data from Abby Connect to Wave. When a new call record or message is logged in Abby, the information is automatically shared with Wave for tracking or follow-up.
What information is sent from Abby Connect to Wave?
Abby sends call record fields such as caller ID, call time, transfer number, notes, and receptionist name. For messages, customizable fields like case type and caller details can also be shared with Wave through Zapier.
Can Wave update or modify anything in Abby Connect?
No, the integration only sends data from Abby to Wave. You cannot use it to update, create, or change information in Abby Connect. All data flow happens in one direction only, from Abby to other connected apps.
How do I set up the Abby Connect and Wave integration?
You need a Zapier account and your Abby API key, found under Settings, Integrations, Zapier on my.abby.com. In Zapier, choose Abby Connect as the trigger app, select Wave as the action app, then map the fields you want to send.
What triggers are available for this integration?
There are two triggers: New Call Record and New Message. Each time Abby logs a new call or message, Zapier can use that data to create or update a record in Wave, keeping your contacts and call details organized automatically.
