How does the Abby Connect and WPForms integration work?
The integration uses Zapier to send information from Abby Connect AI Receptionist to WPForms. When a new call record or message is created, Zapier passes that data to your chosen WPForms fields automatically.
What data is sent from Abby Connect to WPForms?
Abby sends call or message details like caller ID, notes, call time, transfer number, receptionist name, and other custom message fields. This allows captured call data to appear in your WPForms database.
Can I update or change Abby settings from WPForms?
No. The connection is one-way from Abby Connect to WPForms. You cannot edit, update, or add data inside Abby through the integration, and Abby’s internal configurations remain unchanged.
What do I need to set up the integration?
You need a Zapier account and your Abby Connect API key from my.abby.com under Settings, Integrations, Zapier. You will then create a Zap that triggers when a new call record or message is logged.
What triggers are available for use with WPForms?
The Abby Connect app in Zapier provides two trigger options: New Call Record and New Message. You can use either to automatically send caller details to a connected WPForms entry.
