How does Abby Connect integrate with Xero?
The integration works through Zapier. Abby sends call or message data into Xero, creating records or activities automatically. It is one-way only, so Abby cannot import or update information from Xero.
What kind of data can be sent from Abby to Xero?
Abby can send call details like caller ID, notes, transfer number, date, and receptionist name. Message data is also available, including custom fields like case type or caller location, which Xero can use for new records.
Can I update Abby settings or contacts from Xero?
No. The integration is one-way and trigger-only. You can push Abby call or message data into Xero, but you cannot update Abby’s configuration or add new records into Abby using information from Xero.
What do I need to set up Abby with Xero?
You need a Zapier account and an API key from your Abby portal at my.abby.com under Settings, Integrations, Zapier. Once connected, you can build Zaps using the New Call Record or New Message triggers to send data into Xero.
Which triggers are available with Zapier?
Abby supports two triggers: New Call Record and New Message. Each trigger captures details about the interaction and pushes it to Zapier, allowing you to generate corresponding records or actions within Xero.
