Every answered call becomes a file: dated, consistently named, dropped in the OneDrive folder you chose. Six months from now, the conversation is still there: who called, what they needed, what was promised.
It's your OneDrive, so it's your storage, your retention, your access. Abby just does the filing.
Synced To The Desktop You Already Use
Because OneDrive syncs, the call log isn't a website you visit; it's a folder on your machine. New records appear in File Explorer minutes after the call ends.
Share the folder with a partner or assistant and they see the same records, governed by your Microsoft sharing settings.
Need the numbers too? Many teams run this alongside the Excel integration: files in OneDrive for the record, rows in a workbook for the reporting.
Abby only adds files to the folder you designate; nothing else in your OneDrive is read or touched.
Inside A Filed Call Record
1The filenameDate, time, and caller ("2026-08-18 1414 Maria D"), so the folder reads chronologically without opening a thing.
2The headerCaller name and number, when they called, how long it lasted, and whether they're new or known.
3The summaryWhat they needed and what was said, in plain sentences, the same summary your receptionist logged.
4The outcomeMessage taken, question answered, or callback promised, with the callback number when follow-up is owed.
A Week With It Running
Open File Explorer, read your callsOneDrive syncs the calls folder to your desktop, so the week's records are sitting in Explorer like any other files.
Solo practice, complete recordsConsultants and solo practitioners get a filed record of every client call without hiring anyone to keep it.
Search that already worksWindows search and Microsoft 365 search index the records. Type the caller's name and the call comes up.
Backed up by defaultRecords live in your Microsoft storage with your versioning and recovery, not on message slips.
How It Works
1Onboarding connects your Microsoft account and picks the OneDrive folder and file naming with you.
2Abby's receptionists answer every call per your instructions: business hours, evenings, and weekends.
3Each call is filed as a record minutes later, syncing to your desktop like any other OneDrive file.
FAQs
Can Abby's AI receptionist file call records in OneDrive too?
Yes. Calls answered by the AI receptionist and by your human receptionist team file to the same folder, labeled by who answered.
Does Abby have access to the rest of my OneDrive?
No. Abby only adds files to the folder you designate during onboarding; your other files are never read, changed, or moved.
What format are the records?
Simple documents your tools already open: dated, consistently named, with the caller details, summary, and outcome inside. The format is confirmed with you at onboarding.
We're a team on SharePoint. Should we use that instead?
If records should live on a shared team site with site permissions, our SharePoint integration is the better fit. OneDrive suits individual accounts and small teams; some firms run both.
Can I also get a spreadsheet log?
Yes, pair this with the Excel integration for a one-row-per-call workbook alongside the filed records.
Use a tool we haven’t listed?
We build missing integrations for new customers during onboarding, free. Tell us what you run on and we’ll connect it.
