A receptionist at Abby Connect answers inbound calls for small businesses in each business’s name: law firms, dental practices, contractors and hundreds of other kinds of companies. You greet the caller, take a message, transfer the call, book an appointment or run the client’s intake script, using an easy-to-learn call handling system.
- Each client gets a dedicated team of 10 to 20 receptionists, so you get to know the businesses your team answers for.
- A typical day is 160 to 200 calls on a multi-line phone, answered in 5 to 7 seconds, with hold times under 30 seconds.
- Training is four weeks, paid, Monday to Friday, before you take your first live call. Receptionists report to a Receptionist Development Leader.
- Everyone works in the Las Vegas office. Coaching happens in real time, and the team trains together.
- Abby’s AI Receptionist answers calls too; businesses choose human, AI or both for each call. This role is the human side of that service.
What You Need
One to three years of customer service experience is preferred, not required. You should type at least 40 words per minute and be comfortable handling several things at once in a busy room. Every hire passes a background check and a drug check. The bilingual roles require fluent Spanish and English, speaking and translating.
